Welcome to my papier maché showroom. I have divided my creations into 4 catagories, and by clicking the pictures above you may take a closer look.

I have been working on and off with Papier Maché since mid 1990's, and I still enjoy its endless creative possibilities. It looks great whether the style is fun, kitsch or polished and refined. The structure of the material gives each item its unique character.
Besides, Papier Maché is cheap to work with. The principal material is recycled newspaper and cardboard. To get started you only need to buy some wallpaper glue, white glue and paint. You add a good portion of patience (free!), and you are on your way!
There are no rules of "how to do" papier mâché, only some useful advices and guidelines. In my opinion, the best teacher is trial and error. That is how you create your own personal style.
The books that inspired me in the beginning were Susanne Haines' Papier Mâché and PAPIER MÂCHÉ STYLE by Alex MacCormick.
